Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This chocolate is absolutely phenomenal! I wish I had picked up more when I was in the area. I will say that I did not like the espresso beverage at all. It tasted burned, and I threw it out. The chocolate bars and the chocolate products that I bought, however we’re fantastic!

Condor Chocolates - Five Points (Athens) GO DAWGS!!! This place started with a spark of love many years ago. Now, it’s still growing with love by two brothers born and raised in Bulldog Nation, honoring their parents. Five Points location opened in 2014. I’ve been here few times and I can tell you with 100% certainty that their quality is always better with each visit. The friendly and helpful staff are top notch. They are always knowledgeable and ready to assist you in rich and chocolaty varieties. ROASTERY: The space is small and cozy. When you enter, you’re welcomed by sweet aroma. You can come in, enjoy the atmosphere, sip on your specialty drink and watch the process of chocolate making. And of course, while you watch confections masterpiece, why don’t you indulge on their rich and delicious chocolates. CONFECTIONS: 48%-72% You’ve never had such rich, smooth and delicious treats in your life before! It may be a bold statement to make, but I encourage you to visit them and try it for yourself. You can indulge in milk or dark chocolate. “Georgia Bars,” “Condor Chocolate Bars,” “Bulldog Bark,” and many of their individual specialty toffees. I picked up their, “Georgia Bar,”

I found this lovely coffee shop/bakery by accident. I was looking for a bookstore and knew once I passed it, I had to stop!! I ordered the Latte & a Brownie combo!! It did not disappoint. I got the special which was the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Iced Latte (I think that's what it was called.) While it was good, I did not taste any strawberry. But that brownie, with the sea salt on top, was heaven sent! It was a tender, over the top chocolate, super moist delicious treat!! The cashier was friendly and service excellent! My only gripe is that I didn't buy 2!! One was not enough!! I also bought some very delicious granola!! While I didn't sit inside it was vey quaint and conducive to sitting both inside and outside! Next time I'm in Athens, I'll definitely visit again!!
